A happy day for one Chediak-Higashi family

Several days ago I posted that Samantha, one of our little kids with Chediak-Higashi syndrome, was going to get to meet her bone marrow donor.

It is a very sweet and touching story. Here's the link to the local Tampa news station that covered the reunion. Chediak-Higashi Syndrome is a sister syndrome to Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome. There are several similarities, although kids with CHS have much more profound immune system problems than the typical HPS'er.

Here's the story: Get out your hankie now.
