Large White Beans
This recipe comes from our son-in-law, the best cook in the family. It can be eaten as a side dish hot or cold.
1. Soak beans overnight
2. Fry one onion, 1 large or 2 small carrots, and 2 stalks celery
3. Add half a small can tomato paste or a can crushed tomatoes
4. Add beans, cover with water, cook over low heat for 1.5 hours
