Two weekends ago my Dad and my stepmom Patti came for a visit. It was so good to see them again so soon after Ryan's wedding. It was a quick visit, but we did have a lot of fun. They want me to come and stay for a few weeks in Colorado now that I'm not working. I will likely do that, but right now I'm reluctant to leave for too long. It seems like every other day there's a phone call or a form that arrives concerning my disability or voc. rehab request and had I missed it, things would have been delayed for weeks.
At any rate, while they were here I took them to the Airline History Museum in Kansas City. My dad, having been a pilot his whole life, first in the military and then for the airlines - is an airplane nut. Patti's been a flight attendant for some time too, so it seemed like the perfect outing.
The trouble is I'm not nearly as much of an aviation expert as the rest of the family, so I took a lot of pictures and now I don't know what they're of. This is the cockpit of one of the antique planes in the museum's hanger.
My aunt called today and said she'd been reading the blog, and she's been missing photos - so here ya go!
